Troy Mullings: Ga Samai
Troy Mullings: Ga Samai
I have been watching the wave effect of how financial literacy has been a big explosion of the masses finding it understandable, relatable, and inspiring within the black community, globally. This has been led by Rashad Bilal, Tory Millings, and Ian Dunlap (The Master investor). I met the group in London, in early 2022 and was amazed at their vibe and energy, even more so as they want to visit Ghana soon.
I decided to create an art piece based on the positive vibes of the time I experienced. As a follow Jamaican (dual heritage) I was influenced by the infectious Jamaican vibes and also by the podcast interviewing Ragga artist Bounty Killer. The colours used were from the Jamaican flag.
The Ga Samai symbols (I’m my opinion) represent what Earn Your Leisure has communicated to the masses.
The design embraces the Ga Samai collection as a representation of lessons in life.
